About the Role: Manager, Search Engineering
For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Search Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. You’ll build and maintain systems that power mission-critical Information Technology workflows, collaborating with product and peers to design clean, scalable solutions. This role values craftsmanship, impact, and ownership. This is a remote position for US-based candidates only; no visa sponsorship is available.
Compensation
The annual compensation for this role ranges from $144,000 – $181,000.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a global team of software engineers
- Drive innovation and automation to enhance engineering efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for high-quality product delivery
- Coordinate and prioritize projects with the Product team using Agile/Scrum methods
- Set the scope, milestones, and deadlines for engineering features with leadership
- Clarify technical tasks' alignment with project goals
- Identify and address obstacles to team success
- Maintain technical processes like CI/CD and code quality
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cloud software development, skilled in GCP, Azure, and/or AWS
- 2+ years in a leadership role managing cloud-based engineering teams
- 10+ years in software development across the lifecycle
- Experience with microservice-based applications
- Strong knowledge of containerization (Kubernetes)
- Proven track record in managing large-scale, distributed systems
- Solid problem-solving skills and adaptability in high-pressure settings
- Experience with SaaS infrastructure models is a plus
