Job Description
Director, SEO
For our client, we are seeking a Director, SEO to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will support high-impact work that contributes directly to business performance and team success. You will collaborate across functions to move priorities forward, solve complex problems, and deliver measurable outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to influence both strategic direction and day-to-day execution in a fast-moving environment.
Location
Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation
$182,750 – $222,525 annually
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a multi-year strategy for AEO, GEO, and traditional SEO to enhance traffic and conversions
- Design strategies to maximize inclusion in Google AI Overviews, branding the company as a primary information source
- Cultivate our visibility on platforms influencing LLM training signals, transforming messaging to emphasize our AI capabilities
- Lead the organic search strategy for the migration to Webflow, ensuring technical governance and site performance
- Serve as a strategic consultant, educating teams on how their contributions impact LLM training signals and visibility
- Establish a measurement framework focusing on organic customers and innovative metrics such as AI referral traffic
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in SEO leadership, focusing on B2B organic growth programs
- Expertise in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and understanding LLMs' citation practices
- Strong technical SEO background, including Schema and JSON-LD proficiency, with migration experience
- Familiarity with AI visibility tracking tools like Profound and Brand Radar, and standard SEO tools such as SEMRush and Google Analytics
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, aligning strategies with content, brand, product, and engineering teams
