About the role
Construction Manager III - Renewables
Our client, a leader in the Energy & Utilities space, is seeking a Construction Manager III to join their team. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within an Energy & Utilities environment.
Responsibilities
- Communicate and enforce company safety policies to the project team.
- Manage project teams, fostering a respectful and positive work environment.
- Oversee the direction, coordination, and evaluation of the project.
- Coordinate activities of foremen and trade workers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with project schedules and budgets.
- Communicate effectively with clients and manage expectations throughout the project.
- Enhance apprentices' skills through training and coaching.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Seven years of construction industry experience, knowledge of construction techniques, estimating, and management.
- Supervisory experience overseeing multiple trades on projects with revenue values $80M-100M+.
- Experience with self-perform construction overseeing large field teams (200+ staff).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
