For our client, we are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. Responsibilities
- Design and implement data warehousing and reporting solutions
- Create scalable dimensional data models for data warehousing and BI
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business needs into insights
- Analyze data to provide actionable insights for stakeholders
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve data issues
- Establish automated data quality checks and validation frameworks
- Optimize SQL transformations and data models
- Research and innovate new tools to enhance data processes
- 5+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar roles
- Strong experience in designing dimensional data models for enterprise data warehouses
- Proficient in building and maintaining data transformation pipelines
- Experienced in developing analytics and BI solutions using platforms like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
- Advanced SQL skills; proficiency in Python for data tasks preferred
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable models
- Familiarity with modern data frameworks such as dbt
