Remote Support Professional - Part Time

About The Role
As a Remote Support Professional (RSP), you will provide essential remote support services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Your role will focus on encouraging personal growth, fostering community engagement, promoting creativity, and supporting independence. You will be a key point of contact, offering both remote assistance and coordinating in-person support when necessary.
Essential Functions Of The Role
- Promote appropriate levels of independent living.
- Remotely monitor individuals and provide necessary support.
- Encourage engagement in social, community, and wellness activities.
- Communicate effectively with individuals receiving services.
- Manage crises and behaviors calmly and proactively.
- Dispatch in-person support when needed.
- Identify obstacles and assist individuals in problem-solving.
- Provide technical assistance for remote support systems.
- Troubleshoot technology issues related to remote support systems.
- Ensure quality service delivery and compliance with standards.
- Monitor for safety issues and address them promptly.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of service delivery.
- Communicate pertinent issues to your manager and collaborate with peers.
- Model The LADD Way (TLW) and align performance with company values and policies.
- Represent LADD positively in all interactions.
- Stay current with all required training and certifications.
Candidate Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to navigate various technology software and platforms.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to pass a background check (including physical, drug screen, and criminal check).
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must possess a private, dedicated, stationary workspace without other responsibilities.
- Experience in caregiving is required (1 year).
Job Details
- Job Type: Part-time
- Location: Cincinnati, Ohio (Must live in Hamilton County)
- Hours & Shifts: Relief, PRN (specific PM shifts available: Tuesday & Wednesday 7p-11p, Saturday 7p-10p)
- Starting Pay: $17.25/hour + $1.00 shift differential for weekends and overnights.
- Benefits: Paid time off, Referral program.
- Schedule: On call, Weekends as needed.
