About the Float Phlebotomist Role

Compensation & Benefits

  • $2,500 sign-on bonus (not eligible for active Labcorp employees)
  • Hourly pay range of $21.73 - $28.49 plus additional $1.00/hr and mileage reimbursement
  • Quarterly incentive bonus based on performance metrics

Work Schedule & Location

Monday - Friday schedule varying between 7:00am - 5:30pm with potential for additional days/hours including Saturdays. Typical schedule is 8:00am - 5:00pm with overtime expected. Work location is at 1950 Mountain View Ave., Longmont, CO 80501 and covers surrounding areas including Fort Collins, Boulder, Louisville, Westminster.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
  • Enter patient data accurately and process billing when required
  • Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
  • Maintain patient and specimen logs and provide customer service
  • Handle administrative tasks and travel to additional sites as needed

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred
  • Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred
  • Valid Driver's License, good driving record, and reliable transportation
  • Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass a color blindness test
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
