Overview

The Intern Materials and Process Engineer position supports rocket propulsion materials and process development at our West Palm Beach, FL location. This is a summer internship for 2026, providing entry-level engineers experiences through supporting senior staff and engaging in real engineering projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform entry-level engineering assignments under direct supervision.
  • Support materials engineering for propulsion hardware design and fabrication.
  • Assist in material selection, design allowable calculations, and testing.
  • Generate technical reports and presentations detailing findings.
  • Coordinate laboratory test activities.

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Material Science, Materials Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Welding Engineering or related field.
