About the Cyber Intelligence Specialist Role

Join our team as a permanent Intermediate Cybersecurity Solutions Specialist. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in open-source cybersecurity tools with a focus on Wazuh (XDR) and Shuffle (SOAR). You are expected to:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Wazuh and Shuffle.
  • Develop and optimize threat alerts, rules, and automation workflows.
  • Design and implement incident response playbooks with Shuffle.
  • Lead deployment and integration within our Cyber Manager Solution.
  • Mentor team members and maintain the cybersecurity lab.

Required Skills and Experiences

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related technical field required. 5+ years of experience in deploying and administering open-source cybersecurity software is essential. Proven expertise in cyber alert use case development, rule creation, and automation workflow implementation is required. Strong communication and mentorship abilities are needed.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program, secure a government of Canada “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance, and meet U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements.
