The Role
As a Network and Security Consultant at Kyndryl, you will be part of the Network Services team, working on cutting-edge projects including new wireless and 5G technologies. You will review project requirements, communicate them to the team, and design and implement local and wide-area network solutions, including IP and VOIP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain firewall, WAF, and NAC solutions.
- Manage firewall configurations including NATting, custom policies, and high availability setups.
- Implement and monitor WAF policies, traffic inspection, and rate limiting.
- Administer NAC solutions with user authentication and integration with directory services.
- Oversee incident handling, migrations, and detailed security documentation.
- Lead and provide training sessions for colleagues and clients.
Additional Responsibilities
Maintain detailed documentation, execute security health checks, and participate in change, asset, and configuration management. Provide mentorship and guidance, while working in a 24/7 operational environment.
Qualifications
A minimum of 12+ years of experience in the security domain, with relevant certifications (e.g., CCIE Security, CCSE, PCNSE) and technical expertise in Checkpoint, Palo Alto, and F5 ASM, among others. A degree in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics Engineering is required.
