The Role

The Computer Operator role in Boulder, Colorado, is full-time and onsite. The candidate will work a 24x7 support schedule including any shift, weekends, and holidays. The primary responsibilities include handling and resolving incidents, monitoring, tracking, and reporting on system health, performance, failures, and availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve client issues via ServiceNow ticketing using knowledge base articles.
  • Monitor, track, and report on system health, performance, and failures.
  • Detect abnormalities indicating potential performance issues or misconfigurations.
  • Create and improve monitoring and alerting systems to minimize incident impact.
  • Use real-time dashboards to assess system availability, uptime, and capacity.
  • Communicate system status to product teams when non-green statuses occur.

Who You Are

Candidates should have at least 2 years in an operations environment and hands-on experience with Windows and Office products. Excellent customer relations and independent troubleshooting abilities are required along with flexibility to work alternate shifts.

Preferred Skills & Technologies

  • Knowledge of Incident, Problem, and Change processes.
  • Experience with tools like ACES, Ansible, BMC TrueSight, Splunk, VMware, Jira, Grafana, GitLab, and others.

Education & Compensation

A high school education is required while college education is preferred. Compensation for Colorado ranges from $53,160 to $95,640 with eligibility for discretionary annual bonus and comprehensive benefits.
