About the Role
The Financial Examiner position at Financial Examiner (KSM) involves risk-focused statutory examinations, managing the examination team on projects, and ensuring quality and compliance in the financial review process. The role includes planning, executing, and reviewing both general and IT-specific examination procedures.
Responsibilities
General Duties: Serve as Examiner-in-Charge (EIC) or assist the EIC in examinations. Develop proactive project plans, manage staffing, and add value by improving documentation and approaches.
Client Service: Understand DOI expectations, address concerns, manage deadlines and budgets, and communicate closely with clients.
Budget Monitoring: Plan and monitor project scopes, timelines, and budgets, while identifying potential issues and offering solutions.
Ensuring Quality: Oversee work papers, enforce compliance with accreditation standards, coordinate with specialists, and conduct internal meetings.
Business Expansion & Training: Build relationships with DOI contacts, expand Noble Consulting's role on projects, and train team staff.
Preferred Requirements/Qualifications
Bachelor’s in mathematics, accounting, insurance, business administration, or economics; CPA firm or insurance company auditing experience; previous regulatory experience; risk-focused examination experience; Certified Financial Examiner (CFE) designation; and a proactive, collaborative approach.
