Role Summary

The Senior Project Manager at Kraus-Anderson is responsible for directing, overseeing and coordinating project management activities within the Construction Management and General Contracting marketplace. This role involves proposal writing, pre-construction coordination, strategic planning, business development, client relationship management, team leadership, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in proposal writing and project planning.
  • Coordinate pre-construction services and project scheduling.
  • Lead strategic planning, client relations, and business development.
  • Manage project managers, assign duties, and drive team performance.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Generate project reports and coordinate with finance and regulatory bodies.
  • Adhere to the KA Project Managers’ Manual and company policies.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of related work experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong customer service, time management, and compliance with company policies.
  • Team leadership with regular feedback and guidance.

Preferred Qualifications & Other Information

  • Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of ViewPoint software.
  • Valid Driver's License and adherence to KA Motor Vehicle Policy.
  • Travel up to 25-75% depending on the job requirements.

Physical Demands and Compensation

This role requires the ability to communicate clearly, remain seated or standing for long periods, use computer equipment, navigate office settings, and lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.

Salary Range: $125,000 to $185,000 annually, plus auto allowance and a discretionary incentive program.
