- Conduct manual testing for complex scenarios and to complement automation efforts where necessary.
- Actively contribute to enhancing testing frameworks, aiming to increase test coverage, reliability, and execution speed.
- Identify testing gaps, propose innovative tools or approaches, and share best practices with your SDET peer.
- Document identified issues clearly, communicate findings effectively, and partner with product and engineering teams to resolve bugs pre-release.
Skills You Should HODL
- Strong programming experience in TypeScript; additional experience with Python or Ruby is a plus.
- Expertise in using Playwright for test automation; familiarity with other frameworks like Cypress or Selenium is beneficial.
- Extensive experience in UI and API test automation within Agile development environments.
- Solid understanding of comprehensive QA processes, including bug tracking, test documentation, non-functional testing, security testing, and black-box testing.
- Proven experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines and utilizing version control systems such as Git.
- Comfortable working autonomously within a collaborative SDET team, actively sharing knowledge and contributing to framework improvements.
- Possess a creative mindset, capable of identifying edge cases, gaps, and potential failure points in systems.
- Demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills when working with cross-functional teams.
