The Team
The paid growth team owns the strategy and execution of performance marketing campaigns globally in support of Kraken’s user acquisition objectives.
Reporting to the Director, Paid Marketing, we are seeking a seasoned Performance Marketing Manager with deep expertise in performance DSPs and paid social, to lead channel strategy, planning and activation of user acquisition campaigns with a focus on bringing new transacting users into the Kraken suite of products, including: Kraken Consumer, Kraken Pro, Krak & Breakout Prop.
In this role, you will own and optimize Kraken's paid strategy across DSPs including Liftoff, and Yahoo, as well as Snap & Reddit - ensuring that campaigns are data-driven, aligned with growth objectives, and deliver strong ROI.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the crypto/web3 landscape and a passion for data and analytics. They should also have strong experience driving user acquisition across both web and app across a variety of different regions globally.
Our in-house performance channel leads play a critical role bridging growth strategy and hands-on channel experimentation—bringing analytical rigor, creativity, and curiosity to uncover incremental growth in support of our acquisition efforts across the entire Kraken suite of products.

The Opportunity
- Lead paid DSP and social strategy, development, and execution to scale Kraken's growth globally.
- Manage and optimize user acquisition campaigns to achieve CAC and payback goals across each of our priority geos and customer segments.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign effectiveness, providing detailed analysis and strategic recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Effectively manage a multi-million dollar monthly performance marketing budget.
- Drive continuous campaign improvement through rigorous KPI analysis, testing and optimization to scale user acquisition within paid search.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, data analytics, product marketing and regional growth to align on campaign goals and strategies.

Skills You Should HODL
- 5+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience.
- Experience in consumer tech products with a focus on transactional goals and demonstrated ability to optimize campaigns beyond the initial install or sign up.
- Comfortable with analytics tools, attribution models, and performance metrics.
- Strong communication skills to simplify complex learnings for stakeholders.
- Proficiency with mobile measurement partners (MMPs) such as Appsflyer or Branch.
- Curious & experimental: Constantly exploring what’s next in paid growth.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a self-starter; able to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Data-driven: Strong ability to model performance, assess signal, and kill tests quickly.
- Comfortable with ambiguity: Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Crypto native and/or crypto/web3 experience strongly preferred.
