The Role: Head of Localization

As the Head of Localization, you will establish and drive a unified localization strategy that ensures culturally relevant, high-quality experiences across 30+ languages. You will oversee technical stacks and vendor ecosystems and work closely with geo-expansion, growth, and brand teams to deliver consistent and scalable multilingual experiences.

The Opportunity

• Develop and own Kraken’s global localization strategy.
• Partner with Brand and geo-expansion teams for localized rollouts.
• Oversee automation, vendor management, and AI integration.
• Establish governance and best practices across functions.
• Lead and mentor a diverse global localization team.

• 7+ years leading localization at scale in fast-growing companies.
• Expertise in localization platforms, automation, and vendor management.
• Strong operational background with tech-driven process experience.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies, especially AI in localization.
• Experience in crypto, fintech, or highly regulated industries.
