The Team & Role

The Corporate Legal team, a trusted advisor for Kraken, is seeking a Director of Equity Administration to lead global equity functions. This role partners with Legal, Finance, HR, and Executive Leadership to manage Kraken’s cap table, equity programs, and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead global strategy for equity administration and cap table management.
  • Drive migration of cap table systems with data reconciliation and training.
  • Oversee equity plan transactions ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, HR, and Payroll for audit and reporting.
  • Provide detailed analysis and reporting to executive stakeholders.
  • Manage secondary market transactions and support legal documentation.

Skills You Should HODL

  • B.A. or similar degree.
  • 10+ years experience in equity administration with 3+ years leadership.
  • Expertise in equity administration platforms and cap table transitions.
  • Deep knowledge of SEC reporting, PCAOB, SOX, and global tax rules.
  • Advanced MS Excel and reporting tool proficiency.
