Program Overview
Start in our Tech Talent Program and receive all the training and guidance during your first year at KPN to grow as a software engineer. This program offers you the chance to learn and grow from the technical heart of KPN, TDO B2C Solutions. Contribute to our customer applications and make a real impact.
Your Role as a Tech Talent Program
As a Tech Talent in this 1-year program, you get the chance to develop yourself and discover what suits you best. What does this program entail?
- You work for one year in the same team on various projects, with the choice of a front-end or back-end oriented team. Under the guidance of a mentor and a talent manager, the focus is on your growth and technical training using your education budget.
- After the first year, you have the opportunity to switch to another team within B2C Solutions to gain more experience.
- You can further develop in front-end, back-end, or a combination of both, with skills in programming languages such as Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Vue.js.
- During the program, you will delve into front-end and back-end technologies and frameworks. During internship days, you can shadow different teams and discover what you enjoy most.
- You start together with other Tech Talents and follow soft skill training from Faculty of Skills such as effective communication, stakeholder management, and networking. You apply this knowledge directly in practice, for example, during joint technical assignments from the leadership team.
The assignments in the teams of this program are spread across various work locations, including Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Amersfoort, and Groningen. We match teams with your profile.

What You Bring
For this Tech Talent Program, we are looking for technical talents. It is essential that you reside in the Netherlands to be selected for this program. Can you identify with the points below? Then apply directly.
- You have recently graduated or are about to graduate in one of the following fields: AI, Software Engineering, Data, and/or Computer Science.
- You have experience in front-end or back-end development and possess basic knowledge of programming languages such as: Python, Kafka, Vue.js, HTML, or JavaScript.
- You have knowledge of Artificial Intelligence.
- You are open to change and enjoy developing yourself within multiple teams.
- You are a team player with excellent communication skills.
- You speak and write Dutch and English fluently.
What KPN Offers
During this program, you start as a full-fledged employee at KPN. This naturally comes with excellent conditions.
- A gross monthly salary of €3900 based on 40 hours.

- You start with a 1-year contract, with the possibility of extension after the 1-year program.
- Annual individual and collective increase in accordance with our CAO.
- Good growth and training opportunities and a personal training budget of €2500.

- Excellent pension conditions: a total contribution of 23% of your pensionable salary, of which KPN contributes 16% and you 7%.
