Overview
KPMG Advisory practice is our fastest growing unit with tremendous client demand. The Manager, Internal Audit Banking will work on multi-functional teams delivering internal audits from planning to reporting. The role involves audit program development, quality assurance reviews, and leading transformational engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver full audit lifecycle including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Lead or assist in managing KPMG Internal Audit engagements.
- Oversee Quality Assurance Reviews and control testing for SOX and internal audits.
- Develop client-facing materials and proposals to support internal audit services.
- Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams, including offshore resources.
- Facilitate client meetings and control walkthroughs.
- Collaborate with senior-level client personnel and KPMG professionals daily.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of banking internal audit and financial services experience.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance; CPA or CIA preferred.
- Proven ability to communicate audit value and manage complex projects.
- Experience with MS Office and data analytics tools like Power BI, Alteryx, Qlikview or Tableau.
- Knowledge of the 2024 Internal Audit Standards, FRB's 13-1 and OCC's Heightened Standards.
- Ability to work on-site in the tri-state area and travel as needed.
- US work authorization required; no visa sponsorship.
