Associate Director, HR Business Advisor – Advisory National, Strategy & Markets

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead HR business advisor for KPMG's Advisory Strategy & Markets organization, partnering strategically and operationally with leadership.
- Develop and execute a people agenda focused on talent development, inclusive culture, and workforce readiness for the Advisory Strategy & Markets team.
- Manage performance and salary review processes, providing consultative advice on budget allocation and compensation guidelines.
- Represent the needs of the Advisory Strategy & Markets organization within HR's COEs to ensure appropriate support and outcomes.
- Engage in strategic and analytical discussions with leadership regarding organizational and workforce effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the People Relations Group to resolve employee issues and support confidential investigations.
- Uphold KPMG's standards of integrity, professionalism, and respect in all interactions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of six years of recent experience as an HR Business Partner, with comprehensive knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
- Master's degree in an HR-related field or PHR/SPHR certification preferred; Bachelor's degree in human resource management, organizational development, or business administration, or equivalent work experience required.
- Proficiency in PeopleSoft and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Demonstrated HR experience in a sales-driven environment, ideally in professional services, with a strong understanding of sales incentives and compensation plans.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and employees.
- Experience supporting significant workforce changes (e.g., acquisitions, divestitures, transformations).
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with proficiency in platform and facilitation.
Compensation and Benefits:
KPMG offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including competitive salary ranges, medical and dental plans, vision coverage, disability and life insurance, 401(k) plans, and robust well-being benefits. Specific salary ranges are displayed in accordance with local regulations. For California, the range is $124,000 - $259,000 annually.
