Your Role And Responsibilities

Joining the Solution Factory Team within our internal IT department in Milan, you will serve as a technological leadership figure. You will sponsor new solutions to improve product quality, development efficiency, and cybersecurity. Specifically, your responsibilities include:

• Implementing functionalities defined in the roadmap.
• Sharing innovative technological solutions with the Architecture team.
• Analyzing functional requirements for developing macro application functionalities.
• Guiding the team in selecting the most appropriate technological solutions.
• Tracking evolutions, error reports, and technical debts in the team backlog.
• Performing static code analysis according to secure development guidelines (sSDLC).
• Bug fixing and issue resolution.
• Maintaining the source code repository with the latest developments.
• Keeping development libraries updated to their latest versions.
• Recording incidents in case of system malfunction or blockage.

Your Skills And Characteristics

This opportunity is ideal for you if you possess the following qualifications:

• 5-6 years of experience as a web developer (Italian description mentioned 5-6 years, English mentioned 3-5 years, going with 5-6 as it's the higher one, implying a more senior role).
• Proficiency in frontend development technologies such as React, JQuery, and Knockout.
• Expertise in backend development using Java Enterprise (EJB3, JPA) and REST architectures.
• Knowledge of Quarkus and practical experience in microservices development.
• Strong orientation towards designing and implementing user-experience-enhancing interfaces.
• Experience developing mobile applications with web or native technologies.
• A commitment to staying current with new technologies and software development approaches.
• A strong propensity for collaborative teamwork.
• Familiarity with the Agile development methodology.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English (B1 level).
