Role & Responsibilities

• Design reliable, scalable, and highly available ML solutions.
• Formulate model-based solutions using machine learning, optimization, and simulation techniques.
• Adapt and visualize solutions, communicating via presentations and scenarios.
• Acquire domain knowledge to develop solutions and ML models through client interactions and research.
• Conduct literature surveys to identify best machine learning techniques and simplify complex ideas.
• Craft business cases for ML applications and articulate insights to management.
• Collaborate with multiple functions to create POCs/MVPs and guide projects to production deployment.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and analysts.
• Manage client interactions, project negotiations, and resource allocation.
• Identify business development opportunities and work on proposals.

The Individual

• Hands-on experience in Python, ML libraries, and extensive data wrangling.
• In-depth knowledge of MLOps and the machine learning lifecycle.
• Proven implementation of ML algorithms to address business challenges.
• Strong programming skills in Python with data structures and OOPS concepts.
• Experience in managing ML projects using agile frameworks.
• Ability to interact with clients, manage conflicts, and lead teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Willingness to travel within India or abroad for project requirements.

Good-to-have Skills

• Understanding of mathematical programming and optimization algorithms.
• Certifications in cloud technologies.
• Knowledge in domains like supply chain, finance, operations, sales, and marketing.

Client Relationship Management

• Establish and sustain long-term profitable client relationships.
• Manage the client lifecycle from initial contact to delivery.
• Effectively handle client expectations, disruptions, and urgencies.
• Communicate insights to senior stakeholders during meetings.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, industrial engineering, statistics, mathematics, or related fields.
• Subjects such as machine learning, NLP, and optimization are required.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Python development and 2+ years in ML on cloud platforms.
• Experience handling client interactions and managing projects independently.

Selection Process

Candidates can expect up to 3 rounds of interviews (telephonic or face-to-face) to assess technical skills, fitment, and communication abilities.
