Team Overview
The Assistant Manager IT Due Diligence role is within Integration & Separation, Technology in M&A team in the Deal Advisory group. The team is responsible for pre-deal and post-deal technology strategy, risk identification, synergies, and operational integration.
Responsibilities
- Due Diligence: Analyze target data to assess technology cost, products, systems, and IT contracts.
- Condense data into clear findings on impact to business strategy and valuation.
- Utilize IT benchmarks and qualitative information to support client insights.
- Assist in client communications and contribute content for IT deliverables.
- Integration & Separation: Support technology aspects of integrations, separations, and optimization initiatives.
- Support development of target operating models and transitional service agreements.
- Assist in key client workshops, meetings and synergy identification.
- Wider Responsibilities: Interact with senior client stakeholders and internal KPMG leaders while supporting proposal and initiative development.
Qualifications
Mandatory Skills: MBA/Bachelor’s in a related field (preferably Technology), 4 to 7 years technology consulting experience in deal advisory, and experience with IT processes, infrastructure, cloud deployments, ERP/CRM.
Preferred Skills: Understand M&A environment and IT specialization (strategy, applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity), capable in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and additional tools like Visio, Power BI, SmartSheet; strong project management skills; comfortable in a fast-paced environment; and moderate travel.
