Overview

The DataBricks Consultant at KPMG Global Services is responsible for consulting and delivering client services on Azure-based data and big data solutions. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or have minimum 5 years of work experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consulting and client service delivery on Azure
  • Developing data ingestion, processing, and analytical pipelines
  • Implementing data ingestion, ETL, and processing using Azure services (ADLS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Logic App, Synapse, Azure SQL DB, Event Hub, IoT Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Analysis Service, Databricks, Cosmo DB)
  • Working with big data technologies including Java, Python, SQL, PySpark, and SparkSQL
  • DevSecOps, CI/CD deployments and cloud migration methodologies
  • Utilizing developer tools such as Azure DevOps, Visual Studio Team Server, Git, and Jenkins

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years work experience)
  • At least 2+ years of consulting or client service delivery on Azure
  • Experience with RDBMS, big data, and cloud migration processes
  • Hands-on experience with both private and public cloud architectures
