What You'll Do as a Senior Consultant, Governance, Risk & Compliance

KPMG is significantly expanding its Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) area, and we are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will help our clients with risk management, internal control services, internal audit, and regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying risks affecting client strategy and compliance objectives, and assisting them in addressing these through the definition of risk assessment and management models.
  • Designing or reviewing processes and internal control systems for key business cycles, aiming to enhance robustness, agility, and the reliability of financial information.
  • Responding to recent national and international regulations and corporate governance recommendations by helping companies define and implement comprehensive Compliance and control models (covering criminal, corruption, competition, tax, data protection, etc.).
  • Establishing the internal audit function within organizations and developing or assisting in the execution of their work plans.
  • Implementing digital approaches in risk management and data analytics in business control processes.

You will work with leading companies across various sectors, gaining in-depth knowledge of their operations and business models. You will collaborate daily with a team possessing diverse technical and functional capabilities, ensuring constant learning and growth. What You'll Bring

  • Education: Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar, or related double degrees.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in external financial audit or in internal control consulting, risk management, and process analysis.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with data analytics tools is highly valued.
  • Language: High level of English proficiency.
  • Availability: Willingness to travel.
