Overview

At KPMG, you’ll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world. As a Senior Consultant - Business Continuity Management, you will execute project deliverables while working on business continuity planning assessments, developing plans, and facilitating table top exercises.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct assessments of business continuity management, disaster recovery and crisis management plans.
  • Design business continuity programs and roadmaps for implementation.
  • Perform business impact assessments and support prioritization of practices.
  • Monitor industry standards, develop risk and control matrices, and review procedures.
  • Participate in IT internal audit engagements, delivering on various technology risk projects.
  • Lead field engagement teams, coach and mentor junior staff members.
  • Engage in business development and expand practice penetration in public and private sectors.

What You Bring To The Role

  • Bachelor’s or Masters degree or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant certifications such as ABCP, CBCP, CISA, or CRISC.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery planning and crisis management.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 22301, ISO 22317 or ISO 22361 and facilitating tabletop exercises.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Adept in IT infrastructure components and risk assessment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with readiness to travel.
