  • Provide advice and insights on application from an infrastructure perspective to leverage cloud-native services.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to define cloud architecture standards and best practices by providing recommendations and supervising team members.
  • Have a strong understanding of KPMG's digital strategy, cloud platform capabilities, IT and operational priorities, and success criteria for solution design, architecture, and implementation.
  • Ensure that the deployed solution delivers excellent results in terms of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, reusability potential, and reliability.
  • Build strong relationships with key IT decision-makers to gain long-term user adoption and demonstrate the benefits of the cloud transition.

What you bring to the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a STEM field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least three years of experience in solution architecture on major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification (mandatory).
  • Experience transforming IaaS-based applications into PaaS services, as well as designing and configuring secure and scalable cloud platforms in Microsoft Azure, including account structure, security and compliance audits, connectivity, shared services, etc.
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience in architecture, including implementation and maintenance of Azure Platform-as-a-Service components: Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, Azure SQL, AI/ML, advanced analytics, and Kubernetes Service.
  • Knowledge and experience with API and Webhook development using PowerShell, Python, Node.js, Ruby, and Shell Scripting.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD systems, such as Azure DevOps Server and Services, and Github.
  • Experience in cloud automation using Azure CLI, ARM, and Terraform for IaC enablement, AWS CLI and CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.
  • Experience and knowledge of cloud operating systems, including OpenStack, OpenShift, Windows, Linux, and vSphere.
  • Proven experience in system integration, IaaS design and implementation, and PaaS deployment.
