Job Title: Microsoft Fabric Engineer (Copilot Studio)

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Start Date: ASAP


Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Copilot Studio to join a fast-paced client engagement on an immediate contract basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying Microsoft Fabric solutions while leveraging Copilot Studio to build AI-powered copilots and intelligent automation capabilities.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Microsoft Fabric Engineer, Azure Data Engineer, or in a similar data engineering role.
  • Hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Copilot Studio, including building AI-powered copilots and conversational agents.
  • Proficiency in Power BI for data modeling, visualization, and reporting.
  • Experience with OneLake, Lakehouse architecture, and Data Warehouse design and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience creating, orchestrating, and optimizing Data Pipelines and Dataflows.
  • Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.
  • Experience with Python and/or Apache Spark for data processing and analytics.
  • Experience integrating Microsoft Fabric with Azure services and enterprise data platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote, distributed team environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate or other Microsoft Fabric certification.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate certification.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Experience leveraging Azure OpenAI Service for AI-driven solutions.
  • Knowledge of Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Experience integrating with REST APIs and Microsoft Graph API.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and source control best practices.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
