Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Copilot Studio to join a fast-paced client engagement on an immediate contract basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying Microsoft Fabric solutions while leveraging Copilot Studio to build AI-powered copilots and intelligent automation capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Microsoft Fabric Engineer, Azure Data Engineer, or in a similar data engineering role.
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Copilot Studio, including building AI-powered copilots and conversational agents.
- Proficiency in Power BI for data modeling, visualization, and reporting.
- Experience with OneLake, Lakehouse architecture, and Data Warehouse design and implementation.
- Hands-on experience creating, orchestrating, and optimizing Data Pipelines and Dataflows.
- Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.
- Experience with Python and/or Apache Spark for data processing and analytics.
- Experience integrating Microsoft Fabric with Azure services and enterprise data platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote, distributed team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate or other Microsoft Fabric certification.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate certification.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Experience leveraging Azure OpenAI Service for AI-driven solutions.
- Knowledge of Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Experience integrating with REST APIs and Microsoft Graph API.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and source control best practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
