Structural Engineer Diver at KPFF Consulting Engineers
KPFF's Special Projects Division is seeking qualified Structural Engineers/Certified Divers eager to advance their careers. This role offers direct involvement in a wide array of challenging projects, including port developments, marine engineering, ferry terminals, shipyards, fish & wildlife facilities, naval facilities, small boat marinas, municipal structures, floating structures, and design-build infrastructure. We are looking for self-motivated individuals passionate about providing exceptional client service and developing design with project management skills.

Qualifications:
- BS in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis); MS in Civil Engineering preferred (structural emphasis).
- Minimum 2 years of experience with underwater and topside inspection of marine infrastructure.
- Technical report writing experience is preferred.
- Comfortable operating small watercraft.
- EIT required; PE or SE preferred.
- Current ADCI certification card.
- Ability to work on SCUBA and Surface Supplied Air.
- Travel is required.
- Current First Aid, CPR, AED, Oxygen Administration Certifications.
- Current/Ability to pass ADCI Compliant Dive Physical.
- Experience in concrete, steel, and timber design.
- Pre-stressed concrete and seismic design experience preferred.
- Familiarity with performance-based seismic design, non-linear push-over analysis, and soil-structure interaction analysis preferred.
- Knowledge of ASCE 61-14, AASHTO, IBC, ASCE-7, AISC, ACI, and NDS.
- Proficiency in SAP2000, L-Pile, MS Excel, and VBA is preferred.
- Ability to work dynamically with clients and project team members.
- Interest in working on a wide variety of non-building related project types.

Compensation:
