About the role
IT Project Manager
We are seeking a Hands-on Technical Project Manager with a strong background in Java to lead end-to-end technology projects. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between business objectives and technical execution. The ideal candidate should be a former developer who can still navigate a codebase, understand API contracts with a strong experience in project execution, stakeholder management, and delivering scalable IT solutions within timelines and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Strong technical expertise in front end and back-end technologies, including React, Spring, Node.js, and either structured or unstructured databases
- Participate in technical discussions to validate that the FSD (Functional Spec) and actual development logic are aligned
- Lead architecture discussions in collaboration with partner teams and present solutions to internal IT committees
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks based on project demands
- Create detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Business, IT, Vendors, QA, Infra)
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and governance framework
- Drive stakeholder communication and provide regular status updates
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure SLA compliance
- Understanding of testing strategies across various phases of the SDLC
- Working knowledge of project management and tracking tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira
- Willingness to provide production support and handle critical issues as needed

- 5+ years in IT with deep knowledge of either Java (Spring Boot, Microservices)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and the ability to troubleshoot environment-related blockers
- Familiarity with AI frameworks and their integration within the Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC)
- Solid problem-solving skills with both technical and functional perspectives
