The Opportunity: Community & Communication Specialist

The Community & Communication Specialist will help accelerate adoption of AI ways of working across Korn Ferry by managing a vibrant internal AI community and delivering clear, compelling communications and support enablement programs that build confidence and responsible adoption.

You don't need to know everything, but you need to be curious, ask questions, learn fast and take ownership. If you are also excited by AI and treat your Gen AI tools as a thought partner rather than assistant, thrive on connecting people, and know how to turn complex topics into clear, practical messages and actions—this role is for you!

While remote, preferred location is East Coast.

What You Will Do

  • Manage and support our AI communities: Own and support three Viva Engage communities (including Champions and internal AI), and moderate key channels (Teams, GENAI mailbox, Viva Engage).
  • Communicate with clarity and impact: Translate AI updates into engaging messages and assets (FAQs, playbooks, quick-start guides, intranet/newsletter content, leader talking points).
  • Enable learning and capability building: Coordinate onboarding and “getting started” sessions; support learning journeys with L&D/SMEs; schedule enablement events.
  • Keep our content sharp and discoverable: Maintain and refresh the KF GenAI Center SharePoint and enablement repositories so they are current, engaging, and easy to navigate.
  • Monitor and report: Track participation and communications performance; generate weekly reports and iterate based on insight and feedback.

What We Are Looking For

  • 2–3 years’ experience in communications, community or social media management, learning enablement, project management or similar.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex topics (very good level of written English is a must).
  • Coordination/project management capability and strong collaboration.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity; proactive, hands-on, and continuously improving.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Viva, Outlook).
  • Working knowledge of GenAI tools (e.g. Chat GPT, Copilot) and a clear passion for learning and experimentation.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting AI or broader technology transformation initiatives.
  • Experience partnering with HR/L&D and internal communications.
  • Some level of design skills (PowerPoint, Canva).

Success in the role looks like

  • Growing, active communities with meaningful participation and two-way feedback.
  • Communications that are read, understood, and acted upon.
  • A strong cadence of enablement events that increases confidence and responsible usage.
  • Evidence of improved adoption, sentiment, and capability maturity.
