Koino is seeking a Video Editor specializing in high-volume, short-form content for personal brands and sales organizations. This role is crucial for creating content that recruits, converts clients, and builds authority, directly impacting our clients' revenue. We are looking for editors whose primary focus is short-form reels, not a secondary skill. This is an execution-focused role where you will follow provided briefs and style references precisely. It is a remote position.
What You'll Be Editing
- Talking head content with tight cuts, no dead air, and punchy pacing.
- Split-screen formats, featuring client audio and animated graphics or chart builds.
- Raw moment captures with minimal editing to preserve authenticity.
- Occasionally repurposing coaching call clips into short-form content.
What We Need From You
- Proficiency in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Ability to create clean, accurate auto-captions and manually fix all errors.
- Deliver short-form clips within 24 hours and long-form within 48 hours.
- Proactive communication: ask questions before guessing when unclear.
- Ability to receive and apply feedback constructively.
What This Role Is Not
- This is not a creative direction role; scripts, briefs, and style references are provided.
- This is not a high-autonomy position initially; adherence to briefs is expected until proven judgment.
Compensation
Payment is per deliverable or bi-weekly with a set target (e.g., 60 videos per month). Rates will be discussed after a paid test edit. The test edit is unpaid and expected on the same day as submission, typically taking 45-60 minutes.
