Role Overview
The Security Engineer role at Kognity focuses on strengthening and continuously improving our security posture. You will automate security processes, ensure compliance with GDPR, SOC2 and other standards, and drive our security strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Improve security posture and reduce risk across systems and data.
- Automate access controls, credential rotations, and compliance checks.
- Ensure platform compliance with GDPR, SOC2 and related standards.
- Develop and drive security strategy and roadmap.
- Collaborate to ensure secure development and manage incidents.
- Lead security champions and foster an awareness culture.
What We’re Looking For
- Production-level coding skills to advise developers and build tools.
- Analytical thinking to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Strong collaboration and effective risk communication.
- Experience in cloud environments, automation, and compliance.
- Curiosity for AI and drive to experiment with new tools.
