About

We’re a corporate venture studio spinning out an AI-powered canine health companion app, helping pet parents extend healthy lifespan through behavior protocols, nutrition tracking, smart reminders and seamless access to cost-effective care services.

The Role

As the Technical Co-Founder and CTO – Pet Health AI, you will join an agile startup team, working closely with the CEO and a nearshore engineering team to lead full stack development for our mobile app, AI engine and scale our current MVP.

  • Own product architecture end-to-end across Web, Mobile, APIs, data/ML and infrastructure.
  • Scale the MVP behavioral health protocol with onboarding, health score, risk insights, AI nudges and progress tracking.
  • Stand up AI/ML pipelines for scoring, personalization and recommendations with feedback loops.
  • Integrate third-party services with privacy-first design.
  • Build CI/CD, testing, observability, security and PHI/PII handling foundations.
  • Recruit and lead a senior-leaning team and select world-class vendors.
  • Partner with the CEO on strategy, roadmap, milestones, fundraising and GTM, and present to investors and advisors.

What You’ll Bring

Being a pet parent with a history of canine ownership is a huge plus. You need 5+ years building and scaling consumer/mobile or AI native products with 0→1 ownership experience, full stack development skills across web and mobile, and practical experience with LLM applications and data pipelines. A strong product sense, taste for clean architecture, fast iteration and excellent communication skills are required.

Nice to Have

Experience in the pet care/health-tech industry, building recommender systems, personalization, or reinforcement learning for user habits. Experience designing closed-loop outcomes for engagement to measurable health results is a bonus.

Compensation

Base Pay plus Co-Founder Equity in a funded, high growth startup with massive TAM.
