You would join our high performing quality engineering team, and uphold the standard of excellence of the Knowledgehook platform. You would partner with other engineers, colleagues in design and product management to ensure quality assurance through manual testing and software automation in order to support world class learning experiences for learners everywhere. What You Will Be Doing as a Senior Test Automation Engineer

  • Maintaining, contributing to and enhancing a state-of-the-art E2E infrastructure built on Playwright.
  • Adding automation test coverage, as well as some manual testing for releases.
  • Partnering with other engineering leaders to ensure product architecture, performance, and quality meet user needs, and engineers are empowered with efficient tools and processes.
  • Innovating technically, collaborating to solve problems, and aligning vision across the organization.
  • Deeply understanding pedagogy to develop an additive point of view and deliver great learning experiences.
  • Overall responsibility for the stability and quality of features in releases.

What You Need to Succeed

  • A desire to change the world.
  • A very strong technical background, first and foremost as a software engineer.
  • At least 7 years of experience as a software developer or quality automation engineer.
  • Deep Playwright or Screenplay pattern experience.
  • An outstanding track record of delivering results.
  • Familiarity with and a track record of using effective product development processes that you can teach.
  • Strong communication skills, both spoken and written – critical for a remote team.
  • Command technical respect – dive into technical discussions and influence decision-making.
  • Excel at giving and receiving feedback.
  • Previous lead experience is a huge bonus.
  • Experience with usage of AI in testing is a nice to have.
  • Currently build with Angular, C#, Node.js, and SQL Server, but willingness to learn new technologies is key.
