Role Overview
The Corporate Development Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping KnowBe4’s long-term growth strategy through mergers & acquisitions (M&A), partnerships, and market intelligence. This role involves collaborating with senior leadership across Finance, Product, GTM, and Legal to identify, evaluate, and execute strategic opportunities that advance our mission in the Human Risk Management cybersecurity space.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze cybersecurity trends including HRM, AI/ML, and regulatory changes.
- Evaluate KnowBe4’s product portfolio and identify strategic investment opportunities.
- Source, evaluate, and maintain a database of potential M&A and partnership targets.
- Build financial models, perform pro forma analysis, and prepare business plans for corporate transactions.
- Manage due diligence processes and support negotiation of term sheets and purchase agreements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate acquisitions and track key performance metrics.
- Create executive presentations and board materials outlining market trends and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a similar analytical field; MBA preferred.
- Strong ability to connect market trends to actionable opportunities in core and adjacent markets.
- Understanding of cybersecurity trends, HRM, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Excellent negotiation, project management, and financial modeling skills.
- Proven experience in sourcing, negotiating, and managing M&A, partnerships, and post-merger integration.
