Position Overview

KnowBe4 is seeking a Sales Account Executive (Hybrid) located in the Washington DC area (Arlington) to utilize a consultative selling approach. This role involves managing opportunities with small and mid-sized businesses (under 500 employees) by promoting KnowBe4’s Security Awareness Training Platform.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell KnowBe4’s range of products and services.
  • Identify and close net new customers in the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential customers through relationship development.
  • Forecast business prospects and achieve or exceed monthly quotas.
  • Engage in cold calling, networking, and high-level prospecting to identify decision makers.
  • Articulate product value and assist customers in improving their security posture.
  • Attend trade shows and follow-up on marketing leads.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in compliance with policies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (a plus).
  • Proven track record in sales with 1-3 years of software sales experience, preferably to SME clients.
  • Familiarity with IT security concepts and Salesforce, Gmail experience.
  • Network or Security Plus certification preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, stats-driven, and a motivated self-starter.
  • Ability to work independently with strong collaborative skills.
