About the Role

The Senior Solutions Engineer at Klarna is responsible for defining Klarna product solutions for our largest merchants and partners. You will work closely with the sales team to provide technical product knowledge and support during the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise internal and external stakeholders on technical requirements.
  • Own technical aspects during pre-sales and solution delivery.
  • Lead product demos and presentations.
  • Translate product and business requirements into innovative solutions.
  • Define and architect customized client solutions when needed.

Who You Are

You have a minimum of 6 years experience working with technical solutions, preferably with Payment Service Providers, gateways, or acquirers. You are experienced in pre-sales and deep technical discussions, capable of managing client expectations and have proficiency with modern back-end languages such as Java, TypeScript/Node.js, C#/.NET or Go. Familiarity with API design and modern payment tech stacks is essential.

  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of card network concepts such as settlement, tokenization, disputes, and transaction monitoring.
  • Collaborative approach in presenting solutions alongside account managers.
