Project Management Director Role
The Project Management Director will lead project operations that support Sales and Sales Support in driving growth and ensuring excellence in customer satisfaction. This role oversees the full lifecycle of complex projects, aligning processes with company goals and fostering collaboration across departments to deliver high-quality, cost-effective energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Project Management team
- Develop scalable project management strategies and workflows
- Maintain executive visibility on project pipelines and risks
- Partner with Sales Leadership for opportunity qualification
- Drive accountability in customer follow-up and post-sale execution
- Oversee financial reviews and ensure alignment with sales agreements
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Engineers for lead routing
- Act as escalation point for high-impact concerns
- Manage third-party vendor relationships and delivery schedules
- Ensure accuracy in project documentation and close-out procedures
- Lead post-mortems for process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in project management with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven success managing complex, cross-functional project portfolios
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with ERP/CRM systems like Great Plains, Salesforce, or Rehlko
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and solution-focused
