Position Summary:

The Closer is responsible for balancing closing disclosures, sending initial and final loan documents to the closing agent, validating borrower and loan information, initiating funding approval, and delivering funds. The role requires high accuracy, the ability to work under pressure, and strong communication skills to build relationships with co-workers, attorneys, and title companies.

Responsibilities:

• Balance closing disclosures and send loan documents to closing agents.
• Input, verify, and validate borrower and loan information via the KLIK2 system.
• Review SARA reports and pull necessary documents (e.g., CD Request Form, SS, HOI, Title, CPL, Wire instructions, Tax Cert).
• Collaborate with title companies to balance fees and ensure compliance.
• Initiate funding approval and deliver funds; manage post-closing follow-ups.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years' experience in Funding and Closing Document Preparation with strong mortgage industry knowledge, excellent communication, detail orientation, and a self-motivated mindset. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Additional Information:

The base pay starts at $31.00/hr, subject to adjustments based on experience and market demands. Must be capable of meeting physical requirements and work effectively in an open, fast-paced office environment.
