Overview
Kimley-Horn is looking for a Human Resources Partner to join our Richardson, TX office on their HR team. This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
The HR Partner will:
- Propose solutions on retention, employee relations, performance management, teambuilding and conflict resolution.
- Conduct new hire orientations and integration for new hires at all levels.
- Serve as a benefits point-of-contact, educating employees on company benefit programs.
- Manage leaves of absence including FMLA and workers’ compensation.
- Develop and facilitate multiple training programs.
- Manage special projects with region-wide or company-wide impact.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of related experience including employee relations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Day travel required approximately 20%; occasional overnight travel.
- Knowledge of federal and state labor and employment law.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and HRIS systems.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide excellent client service.
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP strongly preferred.
