Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for a Human Resources Partner to join our Richardson, TX office on their HR team. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

The HR Partner will:

  • Propose solutions on retention, employee relations, performance management, teambuilding and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and integration for new hires at all levels.
  • Serve as a benefits point-of-contact, educating employees on company benefit programs.
  • Manage leaves of absence including FMLA and workers’ compensation.
  • Develop and facilitate multiple training programs.
  • Manage special projects with region-wide or company-wide impact.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of related experience including employee relations.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Day travel required approximately 20%; occasional overnight travel.
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor and employment law.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and HRIS systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide excellent client service.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP strongly preferred.
