Overview

Kimley-Horn is seeking a Human Resources Compliance Specialist to join the Firmwide HR team in Warrenville, IL. This is an on-site position.

Responsibilities

The HR Compliance Specialist will engage in various HR initiatives and projects including federal reporting, regulatory audits, and workplace policy implementation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Research and monitor federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Prepare and submit federal and state regulatory reports.
  • Conduct regular audits for employment disclosures and notices.
  • Coordinate with HR team members on compliance reporting.
  • Support immigration documentation and manage vendor relationships.
  • Maintain and update the Employee Handbook.
  • Publish and generate reports from UKG Pro for internal use.

Qualifications

Candidates should have strong auditing, project management, and communication skills, with at least 3 years of HR experience. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required. Experience with HR compliance and regulatory environments is essential.
