About the Role
The Senior Process Engineer at Kimberly-Clark will provide technical expertise, depth, and leadership in process development for new materials. You will work with business unit teams to understand material properties and create processes that deliver innovative materials. This role requires advanced skills in pulping and tissue making process development and a demonstrated history of solving complex problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business units to develop process and material solutions.
- Employ advanced knowledge of pulping, tissue making, and related unit operations.
- Drive process development projects from laboratory tests to commercial realization.
- Coach junior team members and document technical advances via patents and reports.
- Ensure safety by adhering to procedures and communicating project plans to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or higher in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or Mathematics, with 8+ years of engineering experience, particularly in pulp and tissue process development. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are required, along with the ability to manage projects under tight deadlines. Must be willing to travel up to 50%, including international travel.
