Overview

The Web and Digital Interface Designers role at Keystone Recruitment is a remote, hourly contract opportunity. You will craft intuitive, high-performing, and visually compelling digital experiences across web and mobile platforms while contributing to AI training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop responsive, user-centered web and mobile interfaces.
  • Collaborate with management, developers, and stakeholders on e-commerce and digital product strategies.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design improvements.
  • Translate design workflows into insights for AI model training.
  • Evaluate AI-generated interface outputs for usability and design standards.
  • Work with front-end and back-end teams to ensure seamless performance.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with network and hosting teams.
  • Contribute to scalable system architecture using modern frameworks and tools.
  • Stay current with emerging design trends and AI-driven development technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience with modern web frameworks and tools including React, Vue.js, Bootstrap, and Spring Framework.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and platforms such as J2EE, Scala, Swift, jQuery, and UNIX Shell.
  • Experience developing for Apple iOS, Google Android, and Microsoft Windows Server environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure including Amazon EC2.
  • Familiarity with data processing and streaming tools like Apache Kafka, Maven, and Spark.
  • Strong database skills, including Transact-SQL.
  • Understanding of algorithms and scalable system design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in AI training, model evaluation, or digital product optimization.
  • Background in collaborating with distributed, cross-functional technical teams.
  • Portfolio demonstrating successful digital interface projects with measurable improvements.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Airtable or Blackboard software.
