Video Editor - Post-Production Specialist

Keystone Recruitment is seeking a talented Video Editor - Post-Production Specialist to create professional video content and meticulously document complete editing workflows. This remote contract role requires you to showcase your full post-production process, from raw footage to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Video Editing: Execute complete video projects using industry-standard editing software, covering raw footage import through final export and delivery.
  • Workflow Documentation: Clearly articulate editing decisions, sequencing choices, and problem-solving techniques through written and verbal explanations.
  • Asset Organization: Efficiently organize, label, and manage raw footage, audio tracks, graphics, and exported files for seamless team handoff and archiving.
  • Narrative & Pacing: Apply expertise in timing to structure compelling video stories with optimal visual flow, transitions, and audience engagement.
  • Quality Refinement: Refine rough cuts, optimize transitions, color grade, and resolve technical/creative challenges to ensure professional-grade results.

Required Skills

  • Professional video editing experience with complete project delivery.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut).
  • Strong narrative timing and visual storytelling capabilities.
  • Expertise in asset management and file organization.
