Technical Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate enterprise-level initiatives across information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming environments. This role requires strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, and deep technical expertise across infrastructure, hardware, and software systems. The ideal candidate will drive strategic execution while ensuring operational excellence, security, scalability, and business alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and execute project plans to coordinate cross-functional project activities
• Lead enterprise IT and systems-related initiatives from planning through delivery
• Oversee backup systems, security protocols, disaster recovery, and user support frameworks
• Partner with users, vendors, engineers, and leadership to assess computing needs and system requirements
• Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure alignment
• Evaluate data processing proposals for feasibility, scalability, and risk
• Contribute to staffing decisions, mentorship, and performance feedback
• Develop and interpret organizational policies, procedures, and technical standards
• Support strategic computing initiatives, data governance, and business continuity planning

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Deep understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, hardware, and software systems
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and operational efficiency models
• Strategic planning, resource allocation, and organizational management experience
• Technical proficiency in software environments such as Java, SQL, Visual Basic, and enterprise systems tools
• Ability to independently manage complex, high-visibility initiatives

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field (required)
• MBA or advanced technical degree (preferred)
• PMP or PMI certification (preferred)
