Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager IV to lead the definition, implementation, and delivery of complex, cross-functional technology programs. This role requires strong strategic planning, execution discipline, and stakeholder management across multi-platform systems environments. The ideal candidate will excel at managing interdependencies across multiple projects while delivering results within defined scope, quality, timeline, and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Leadership & Execution: Lead complex programs involving cross-functional teams and multiple project streams. Deliver initiatives within defined scope, quality, timeline, and budget parameters. Manage interdependencies and proactively mitigate moderate-to-high risk factors. Develop structured program roadmaps and execution frameworks.
- Strategic Planning & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with executive leadership on program-level strategy and planning. Facilitate complex issue resolution and decision-making. Communicate program status, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders at all levels.
- Project & Portfolio Oversight: Define and manage project scope, requirements gathering, and documentation. Develop detailed project schedules and oversee time estimation processes. Manage project budgets and ensure financial accountability. Maintain structured status reporting and performance tracking across programs.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks proactively and implement contingency plans. Escalate unresolved blockers to appropriate leadership in a timely manner. Drive resolution of issues to maintain project momentum.
- Cross-Functional Team Management: Lead internal exempt employees, matrixed team members, and contractors. Foster collaboration across engineering, business, and operations teams. Support launch planning, defect tracking, and post-launch stabilization efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
- Proven experience managing complex technical programs in large-scale organizations.
- Strong expertise in project estimation, scheduling, tracking, and implementation planning.
- Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in multi-platform environments.
- Demonstrated experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Proven leadership, people management, and team-building skills.
- Strong risk assessment and mitigation capabilities.
- Ability to adapt and exercise sound judgment in dynamic environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced technical degree.
- PMP, PMI, or equivalent program management certification.
- Experience managing enterprise-scale system implementations.
Work Environment
