About the Role
The Strategy Analyst role is a remote, independent contractor engagement focused on analyzing the EDI and fulfillment technology landscape. The candidate will evaluate competitive positioning, defensibility, and AI-driven transformation in enterprise operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structured analysis of the EDI and fulfillment solutions market.
- Compare product capabilities, vertical focus, and integration ecosystems.
- Assess competitive moats including network effects, switching costs, and regulatory issues.
- Evaluate the defensibility of legacy EDI providers amid AI disruption.
- Develop strategic market scenarios and produce structured written reports.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have 2+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS market analysis, supply chain or logistics technology, EDI platforms, or related roles. A strong understanding of EDI standards, ERP integrations, and fulfillment workflows is necessary, along with clear, data-driven communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in supply chain technology, logistics SaaS, B2B integration platforms, and exposure to AI-enabled enterprise software products is an advantage. Candidates with a background in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or investment analysis will excel.
Engagement Details
This is an independent contractor role with a flexible, fully remote work arrangement. Compensation is based on hourly rates ranging from $80 to $130 depending on experience and scope. Weekly payments are processed via secure payment platforms.
