Overview of the Startup Founders Role

Keystone Recruitment is seeking experienced Founders and Early Operators to document and review data systems built or managed at mid-size startups (20–150 people). This pivotal engagement involves providing firsthand expertise in building, overseeing, or scaling internal data and reporting systems within high-growth startup environments. You will be responsible for documenting architectural decisions and evaluating how operational data drives business decision-making.

  • Experienced Founders: Individuals who have successfully built or managed complex internal systems in high-growth settings.
  • Startup Veterans: Demonstrated prior experience within a high-growth startup ecosystem (20–150 employees) is essential.
  • Domain Agnostic: We prioritize your experience with architectural complexity in data systems over specific industry domain knowledge.
  • Availability: The ability to commit to a short-term, clearly defined research engagement.

Engagement Details

This engagement focuses on the retrospective documentation and technical review of previously implemented systems. It is a private research effort, with full technical specifications and compensation details shared after an initial screening. Please note, Keystone Recruitment will exclusively engage CEOs, Founders, and Ex-Founders as independent contractors for this fully remote role, offering flexible scheduling. Projects are adaptable in duration based on evolving needs and performance.
