Software Expert

Role Overview

Our client, supported by Keystone Recruitment, is spearheading a high-priority data collection initiative to enhance how AI systems comprehend complex software interfaces and real-world, multi-step professional workflows. Current datasets often lack the specialized expert grounding necessary for accurately reflecting authentic software usage. This project directly addresses this deficiency by meticulously collecting high-quality screen annotations and recordings from seasoned professionals operating within genuine digital environments.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on the project phase, a Software Expert may be tasked with one or both of the following:

• Record detailed screen sessions demonstrating specific workflows, accompanied by clear verbal narration explaining each step comprehensively.
• Accurately annotate screenshots by precisely drawing bounding boxes around pertinent UI elements.
• Follow provided staging instructions to configure specific UI states before initiating recordings.
• Utilize a custom capture tool to record workflows with accuracy and consistency.
• Adhere strictly to detailed task guidelines to guarantee optimal data quality and usability.

Required Qualifications

• Strong familiarity with one or more of the following professional tools: Blender, Godot, GIMP, RWings 3D.
• Exceptional detail-orientation with a proven ability to follow structured instructions precisely.
• Comfortable working independently and consistently meeting tight deadlines.
• Access to a physical Mac and the capability to establish a fresh macOS user profile if required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with data collection, annotation, or quality assurance work.
• Demonstrated experience recording or documenting professional workflows.
• Adeptness at working with new tools and navigating staged environments.

• Tasks are completed efficiently while maintaining high data quality.
• Collected data effectively supports scalable AI research and development initiatives.

Contract & Payment Terms

• This is an independent contractor engagement.
• The role is fully remote with a flexible schedule.
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on evolving needs and performance.
• No access to confidential or proprietary employer information is required.
• Weekly payments are processed via Stripe or Wise, based on logged hours.
