Overview
The Software Engineer Scientific and Analytical role is an independent contractor position focused on capturing high-fidelity screen recordings and annotations to support data collection for next-generation AI systems. This job requires a physical Mac and fluent English.
Key Responsibilities
- Record screen sessions with clear, step-by-step verbal narration.
- Annotate screenshots with precise bounding boxes around UI elements.
- Follow detailed staging instructions to set up software states.
- Use a custom capture tool for consistent, high-quality recordings.
- Adhere strictly to guidelines ensuring data accuracy and usability.
Qualifications
Applicants should have strong experience with scientific or analytical software (e.g., MATLAB, Origin, Stata, EViews) and the ability to follow detailed instructions. Experience in data collection, annotation, or quality assurance is beneficial.

Engagement Details
